Book Review: Watch Me Disappear

In Watch Me Disappear, a young father and his teen daughter are near the end of the first year since her mother went missing. It's told in alternating perspectives and explores their very different ways of grieving. As the father begins writing his memoir of a tragic love story, he stumbles across evidence that suggests his wife might have faked her death and their love story might not have been what he thought.

The premise was interesting and Brown's writing is accomplished, but as someone who reads to fall in love with character, I just didn't, if you're a reader who tends to care ore about plot, this book might be for you as there are several twists I did not see coming.

I found the epilogue, which finally answers the question raised in the premise, to be quite rewarding.
